GRAFFITI :: BELIN

Belin hails from a small Spanish town called Linares (a place with strong traditional roots famous for mining and “the worlds best olive oil”) it seems incredible that someone with such a down to earth character and background can create something as raw and unique as Belin can.
He is able to express his art in ways that many of his colleagues in the world can only dream of. The reason for this - in his town the word “graffiti” is presently accepted as part of new age culture. It is an art form never frowned upon, as the quality of his art and the way Belin presents it is mind blowing. There are over 20 huge masterpieces that grace the streets and each one is instantly recognisable as Belin’s work!

The news of his inspirational pieces has spread far and wide over the last few years and his reputation has been an incentive for many to travel to Linares to find out for themselves. Belin has 1 European Tour under his belt and has also been able to travel out of Europe and present his work in such places as Los Angeles & Puerto Rico. The name Belin has spread far and wide and his fame has landed him work with Clothing brands such as Carhartt, Sneaux, SupremeBeing and he has even painted a mural for Warner Bros Music Inc where he did a huge photo real portrait of Wiz Khalifa.
The 08 trip to L.A. saw Belin create 4 identical portraits of the cast of t.v. hit show L.A. INK in one giant mural on the back of the tattoo shop in Hollywood... there was such a huge commotion from his standard of work that it landed him work with top photographer Lionel Deluy. The Deluy project will commence soon.

Belin´s success has also landed him and Factory 311 an official title of “Event Partners” with Fashion Festival “Bread & Butter” in Barcelona, after one masterpiece created at the January show, Belin has been invited back in July where he will be creating his 2nd B&B Mural with artists Satone and Rabodiga. Belin is a strong believer in educating the people with his type of art and also to push the boundaries in other countries to show that this is not vandalism its a pure art form. Belins art work has captured he attention of the city council of Manchester who are no looking into getting permanent wall space for Murals where people will be able to see his work outside of his home town for years to come.
