FACTORY 311 SHOWCASES ITS MULTI TALENTED APPROACH

Multi-disciplinary art and design studio Factory 311 has unveiled a raft of new projects that showcase the agency’s myriad styles The studio is a true global outfit, combining artists, photographers and designers based in LA, Manchester, Paris and Spain to create a tailored international design agency. Chief among its offerings is range of new collaborations with prominent LA-based photographer Lionel Deluy, which mixes photography, illustration and bespoke artwork in a three-stage installation process. Among the famous faces to be treated under the Deluy Project moniker is LA-based tattooist Kat Von D.

Street artist Belin of Factory 311 created a bespoke mural for the tattooist which was worked on to the wall of her famous studio, High Voltage from the TV series LA Ink. Wiz Khalifa from Warner Bros Records has undergone the same treatment, while burlesque star Dita Von Teese is next in the pipeline. “Our incredible in-house talent has allowed us to approach such artists as Lionel Deluy,” Factory 311’s Nicholas Hardy explains. “This has allowed us all to express our true creativity, and since then we have smashed our every expectation. Speaking with the likes of Warner Bros and Ed Hardy was only something to dream about, but now with projects planned we are actually doing it! The agency’s roster includes motionographer and video producer Rostance, illustration and design /// Sat One and Spanky, photographic artist Soem One.

Having produced works so far for the likes of Carhartt, Don’t Panic and Burton snowboards, Factory311’s multi-faceted approach to design and artwork is proving a shrewd move.
